Finding Faith & Loving Jesus: Becoming Better Humans

At LaRae & Co Threads, I’ve always believed that what we wear is a reflection of who we are. Our shirts are more than just fabric and ink — they’re little reminders of what we believe, what we stand for, and the life we’re trying to live. And for me, that life is rooted in faith.

Faith as a Daily Choice

Faith isn’t just something you have, it’s something you choose every single day. Some days it feels easy — the sun is shining, the coffee is perfect, and everything is going your way. Other days, faith feels like a choice you have to wrestle with before your feet even hit the floor. It’s in those moments that I remind myself: faith moves mountains. Not because I can, but because God can.

Loving Jesus in a Messy World

Let’s be honest, the world can be messy. People can be messy. We can be messy. But that’s where Jesus steps in. Loving Jesus means showing up in love when it’s hard, extending grace when you’d rather clap back, and being a light even when you feel like you’re standing in the dark.

I’m not perfect at this — not even close. But every day is a new chance to try again, to forgive again, to choose kindness again. And the beautiful thing is, when we do, we not only make our own lives better, we make the world around us a little better too.

Becoming Better Humans

At the heart of it, that’s what this brand is about: becoming better humans. It’s about encouraging you (and me!) to step into who God created us to be. To be bolder in our faith, softer in our words, and braver in our kindness.

Whether you’re wearing a shirt that reminds you to trust God, or just sitting quietly with your Bible and your thoughts — you are growing. You are becoming. You are living Jesus in your own way.

The Challenge

So here’s my challenge to you — and to myself:

  • Show love when it’s inconvenient.
  • Forgive when you have every reason not to.
  • Speak truth with gentleness and grace.
  • Keep choosing faith, even when the mountain looks too big to climb.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about perfection. It’s about progress. And together, we can be the kind of humans who make the world brighter.
